Amsterdam Trail: 13 May – 15 May 2016

May 13 - 15, 2016 Slewe Gallery will participate at The Amsterdam Trail. The Trail is a walking route through Amsterdam's Spiegel Quarter, Amstelveld and the Jordaan. For the 5th year running tribal art galleries have invited artists to exhibit their work in between ethnographic objects. For the first time contemporary art galleries will also participate in the Trail and will combine tribal art within the exhibitions in their own venues. At Slewe Gallery two Tibetan Book Covers will be on view during the current exhibition Duo by German artist Günter Tuzina.

Opening of the trail will be Friday May 13 at 5 pm
Saturday and Sunday 12 am - 6 pm

Günter Tuzina, Duo, Performance: 23 April – 23 April 2016

On the occassion of the opening of Günter Tuzina's exhibition Duo at Slewe Gallery Saturday April 23, the artist specially composed a piece of music which was performed by the artist in collaboration with musician (piano) John Snijders at 4 pm.

Günter Tuzina has a single artist exhibition at the Projects Room of the Gemeentemuseum Den Haag in relation to a recently acquired floor relief, entiteld Black, Blue, Green (1991) of him, from August 20 until November 13, 2011.
